Technology behind the Wii U

The Nintendo Wii U doesn’t exactly use cutting edge technology but it doesn’t need to in order to make fun, affordable games that people can enjoy. The following video dives into some of the technology that sets apart the Wii U from other consoles and allows Nintendo to keep innovating the gaming industry.

Gyroscopes, touch screens, accelerometers and other components have all been around for a while and are likely in your smartphone already but Nintendo can use them to make games different than they were in the previous generation.
