BlackBerry 10 released to developers

The BlackBerry World 2012 Keynote released BlackBerry 10 to developers. The native BlackBerry 10 SDK is also available for download from the BlackBerry Developer site. The SDK allows developing C\C++, HTML5, Java (Android) Runtime, and ActionScript with Adobe AIR languages. Developers attending the conference got a “DevAlpha” device with a 4.2-inch screen and a 1,280×768 resolution.

While the BlackBerry 10 platform seems to bring some interesting new features, it also seems to be mostly playing catch up to the other smartphones out there.
